Service/Task groups: Deepen your knowledge of the word of God, through Bible and book study. A small group is a great place to learn and grow spiritually through faith based education. The small group setting provides a forum, where you can ask questions, participate in discussions, and hear others share insights and illustrations of the truth you are trying to grasp.

Connection Partners			A connection partner assists the connection coordinator in setting up for new member classes or welcoming new guests by email, phone call or letter.
Global Mission Team	Evening		Are you creative? Do you enjoy learning new things? Are you passionate about the well-being of the world and want to become more involved? If yes, then check out Good Samaritan's new Global Mission Team and learn more about the diversity of God's people, learn about critical issues facing the global human family and how you can make a difference, and help plan special global mission events and worship services.
Growth Groups/Bible or Book Study Partner	Varies		Would you like to help plan, organize and promote Small Groups???? Are you interested in learning more about how small groups work? How we order small groups curriculum? Or maybe you're interested in starting your own group?
Homebound Visitation	Varies		Pastor Scott Hove leads this team in visitations to those that are homebound. The team visits with the homebound members, prays with them, serves Communion and enjoys fellowship with those in need.
Information center	Saturday evening and Sunday Mornings	Good Samaritan Campus	Saturday evenings and Sunday mornings (it will be on a rotating basis). All you need to do is smile, welcome visitors, make sure they receive a visitor gift bag and answer their questions, if they have any.
Sunday School helpers	Sunday	GSLC	This is the group of volunteers that teaches or assists the Kids Connection teachers on Sunday morning.
Layette	Saturday	Good Samaritan Campus	The Layette ministry assists mothers and their newborns who are in need of help with basic care products.
Mexico Mission			Building homes in Mexico builds people, faith, and relationships too
Nursing Home Visitation Team	Tuesday 6pm	Silver Ridge Nursing Home	The team visits the residents of Silver Ridge convalescent home to chat, pray, and socialize with men and women who are in need of company. It is a tremendous opportunity to help those in need and rewarding as well. We do carpool from Good Samaritan if that would be of help. Come join us, you'll love it! Our hope is that we will have enough participants in this ministry to expand to two visits a month.
Quilters Corner	Friday 9am	Good Samaritan Campus	If you can tie a knot, cut squares out of fabric, or sew squares together, we will put you to work!! If you can only make it once in awhile on Fridays, that works too!
Readers, Greeters, Ushers, Communion Assistants	Saturday evening and Sunday mornings	Good Samaritan Campus	A variety of people are needed for helping with our worship services. We need help with reading, greeting, Communion and Ushering. Training is provided. It is on a rotating basis for whatever service you normally attend.
Sandwich Ministry	Sunday mornings	Good Samaritan Campus	We make 200 sack lunches that are given to the homeless at Owens Ave. & Main St. We can always use more help putting together the lunches or delivery drivers that can help the hot church kids deliver these sack lunches after the 10:45 service.
Special Events	Varies	Various	Would you like to help out with the various special events that go on through out the year at Good Samaritan? Trunk or treat... Easter egg hunt.. Cake Auction.. Ground Breaking, Etc. You are NOT required to help with each event. Please put yourself in this group if you are willing to be called and asked to help with these events. It gives us a great database to draw from when we need help.
Technology/Audio/Visual	Varies	Good Samaritan Campus	Help Good Samaritan Worship time run smoothly by assisting with the technology/audio/visual team. Power point, Sound system and more.
