Just for our Guests
The difference between a Visitor and a Guest :
Visitor - Someone who drops by unannounced who you
politely invite in, but usually wait patiently for them to
leave so that you can get back to doing what you were doing
before they came along. (example: door to door salesperson)
Guest - Someone you invite to stay, maybe plan on
cooking a meal with/for them, spend time talking with them,
and you definitly welcome their company. Usually when a guest
leaves, you make sure to thank them for coming and invite
them to return.
At Good Samaritan everyone who walks through the doors is
welcomed as a guest, treated like family, and then
asked to come back again.
We welcome you as our guest, please make yourself feel at
home, in our home.
When you're our guest:
Please take a moment to fill out our guest information form
inside your worship bulletin. It is a great way for us to
be able to say thank you for being our guest in a special
way - so please make sure you fill in your contact information.
At our hospitality center , please help yourself to a welcome
bag. It has some information about our church, and wecome
gifts for you to take home and enjoy.
Please look around our reception table. Check out the events
we have coming up, read about our small groups, Sunday school
and the many different ministries and classes we have going
on.. There really is something for everyone to get involved
in our church family.
Again we welcome you into our church family. I do hope you
will stay awhile.
God's peace and love,
Trish Russell - Connections Coordinator
